Foundation Center Cooperating Collection

The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection at Marietta College Library is supported in part by the Marietta Community Foundation.

Marietta College Library is a member of a network of nearly 300 Foundation Center Cooperating Collections. The Foundation Center is the nation’s largest clearinghouse for grant related information. Through a core collection of resources provided by the Foundation Center, Marietta College Library offers free access to information and services to assist individuals and nonprofit organizations in finding sources for funding and grant seeking.

How can this collection help grant seekers?

  • Can access electronic and print resources about grant seeking
  • Explore topics related to philanthropy, fundraising, and nonprofits
  • Find information about foundations that could be sources of funding for nonprofit organizations
  • Gather information on how individuals can get grants and funding
  • Match your interests to potential funding sources

What can you find in the collection?

Grant material in both print and electronic format can be found in the collection in the Marietta College Library. We receive a core collection from the Foundation Center and the library also collects information about grants and nonprofits on its own. Here is a local resource listing of the core Foundation Center collection and a selected list of other grant seeking resources.

Will the library sponsor any training about grant seeking?

The library alone or in cooperation with the Foundation Center will periodically offer training sessions that introduce specific resources or cover topics related to grant seeking. Check here for registration information for current training events.
