New JSTOR Collections Available

The Marietta College Library announces the addition of five new JSTOR collections to its subscription beginning with the 2007-2008 academic year. This increases the number of journal titles available to Marietta College students, faculty, and staff through JSTOR from 332 to 617, with approximately another 40 to be added over the next few years.

JSTOR digitizes complete runs of journals from volume 1 through a "moving wall," generally 3-5 years before the present. The reason for the "moving wall" is so that JSTOR does not compete with current subscriptions that the publishers depend upon for their revenues.

All JSTOR collections are available via keyword searching at: http://www.jstor.org/search/
