Background

The Legacy Library's online booking system is publicly available for viewing using the EventPro system (select "Legacy Library" in Location Group). Except as noted below, requests for scheduling Legacy Library room usage should be made through this system.

Reserving the classroom (219) for regular semester class usage is handled by the Records Office, x4730. Normally this is done with the department chair's upcoming semester course schedule submission.

Reserving the computer classroom (218) for library instruction is handled by Joe Straw, x4541, or Peter Thayer, x4361, .

Reserving the CTE Conference Room or the classrooms can be handled by Linda Roesch, x4815, or may be requested through the EventPro system.

Non-College groups wishing to use Legacy Library spaces must make arrangements through Marietta College Conference Services, Lois Arnold, x4735, . Such usage requires library director approval.

General Policies

Legacy Library spaces may not be reserved outside of published library hours (Check Library Calendar). Exceptions must be approved by the Director of the Library. It is recommended that the start time for an event be at least 15-30 minutes after opening and that the end time for an event be at least 15-30 minutes before closing.

Generally library spaces have the technology and furnishings that are standard in the room. If special equipment is needed, please contact the library director or the instructional technologist to find out whether the need can be accommodated.
