This intent of this library activity is to have you visit the library and locate a book on a topic that interests you. To find an item in the library in the most effective way possible, follow the steps below. Remember, you can always ask for help from the library staff!
Step 1: Watch the "Intro to the Library Catalog" video to learn how to find books and other materials in Legacy Library.
Step 2:Use the library catalog search box below to find a book on a topic that interests you. The library catalog search box is always found at the top of the Legacy Library home page at https://library.marietta.edu
Step 3: For any item that you find in the library catalog and would like to pull from the shelf, write down the location, call number (location on the shelf), and status of the book.
Step 4: Locate the item on the shelf. NOTE: If you can't find the book on the shelf, the librarian at the reference desk on the 1st floor is happy to help you locate it.
