Finding Permanent URLs for Database Resources: Factiva

Factiva article

1.  Locate the article you need in the database in the browse display.

2.  Hover your mouse over the title of the article you want and do a right click.  In the menu that pops up, select "Copy link address."

3.  Open Notepad or some other simple text editor and paste the copied URL.  Then within the URL, select all of the text from the end, back to the leftmost ampersand (&) and delete it.

4.  What you are left with is the permanent URL.  You may copy this to paste it wherever a permanent URL is needed.
