Accessing Databases Basics: Printing and Citing Articles

This is a basic guide on how to access the library's databases.

Printing Articles

Below is the PDF view of a journal article. To print the article, click on the printer icon. The library printers are usually set to print double sided pages. To change the print option to print on one side only, go to "More settings" on the print page and clear the box next to "print two-sided."

Other Helpful Icons

Several other icons on the right side of the page provide useful tools. This envelope icon allows you to email a copy of the article to yourself or someone else. The folder icon  allows you to place the article into a temporary folder that you can access during that specific search. The yellow page icon  will provide citation formatting from several styles including APA, Chicago, and MLA.
